The Budapest Gambit (1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e5) is a bold counterattacking try in which Black immediately strikes at White's center with a pawn sacrifice. After 3. dxe5 Ng4, Black regains the pawn with active piece play and dangerous tricks for an unprepared opponent.
